(edit of other recording, with eq, reverb etc. ) recorded inside of an abandoned building next to a boarded-up, old wooden exit door. Has a nice, subtle low hum, which is actually from a plane flying overhead. Also contains knocking sounds, which is most likely the door being a bit loose. Would be awesome for horror atmospheres. This is the first part in my series of "distant music". This is intended to sound like rave/house/hardcore music being played loudly in the background. A very basic generic thump thump type of music.

This started out as a basic kick drum pattern i was experimenting with in ableton, and then devolved into me applying an obscene amount of delay, echo, reverb, compression, and filtering. And now it sounds vaguely like a helicopter :).

At the morning, saint-blimont, la somme, france. Recorded on 2018/11/01 at 8h24 by a rode nt4, sound devices 302 and olympus ls100. This is a good example that the rode nt4 is not a good system for quiet ambiances. High-pass (160 hz) on the sound devices, +12 db gain on pro tools.
